I love thrift shopping more and more. It just becomes my secret (not so secret) place to go to debrief. Lately, I’ve been finding things not only just for myself but also for friends as well as sourcing to sell so I’ve been spending a bit more time there and giving more and more care and thought into what I bring home.
Here’s what I spotted:
Elevenses blazer $10, Anthropologie brand
Zara coat $40
North Face jacket $40
G-Star jacket $20
Zara pointy flats, BNWT, $18
I spotted so many Matt & Nat or Samsara bags and wallets. These were just a few of them!
I love black on black. This purse was by Elliott Lucca, a brand I had not heard of previously but had a good following on eBay.
Adidas Originals dress $12. Loved this but it’s very difficult for me to wear oversized items
Adorable cat print dress $17
Very pretty bird print dress $9
Polkadot Kismet dress $15
Korean brand dress with great neckline
Mariposa was a Canadian store in the 90s that I had long forgotten about until I saw this tag
Gentle Fawn dress $15
Workhall dress $9, local Edmonton garment company
Guess dress $20
I LOVE Theory. Sadly, this one did not fit me.
Maeve dress $12, Anthropologie brand.
Rachel Roy dress $15
I love a good Club Monaco dress, sadly this one was too small.
There are many more great pieces that I saw, but this post is getting quite long. Let’s focus now on what I bought:
This is the first time I’ve seen House of Harlow. I bought these to source, there is one blemish on one weaving portion of the shoe which I hope can be fixed with a quick staining.
There is always something to be said for a European made shoe, these fit like a charm and just need a quick polish.
The leather purse is by Aunts & Uncles, abeautiful brand of vegetable dyed leather bags from Denmark, it retails for 99.95 EU or $140 CAD. It had great design and great hardware. I didn’t take a picture of the inside but it too has a lot of great detail.
Lucky Brand tote $5, can’t go wrong!
Tahari jacket $6. This great structured and detailed jacket/blazer needs a dry clean and snap securing but for the price, I risked it to source. Tahari is another one of my favourite brands.
After six years of regular thrift shopping, I finally found a vintage Club Monaco sweatshirt or two! The thrift gods were generous! I found the light grey one first and something told me to keep going into the next size section. I believe the white is original from the mid 90s because of the tag and the grey is from the re-release about seven years ago. Both are in excellent condition, especially for their light colour.
Thanks for reading, until the next thrift!
