Value Village – October 2015

Like most thrifters, Halloween time is my least favourite time to shop as the store is cramped with new Halloween costumes and more customers. But any time that I have visited during this season, has always been very lucrative for me. This particular shop was a gold mine in the shoe and dress section that I had a full cart and had to make a b-line for the change rooms early in my shop. That has never happened before! Plus, I have very small feet that the shoe section is one that I usually don’t score on. Not this time, I found a shoe in my exact size that I have been lusting over in all the boutique shops for years! This thrift was such a gold mine that I forgot to take pictures of many items, including items I purchased so I made sure to capture them when I got home.

Here’s what I spotted:

These brass bowls were quite pretty. $5 and $8.

And now for what I purchased:

20151009_152130Nine West pumps $20! I’ve tried these on in stores soooo many times at $150! I don’t know why I never purchased them retail, perhaps my subconscious knew that I would one day find them thrift in perfect condition and in my exact 5.5 size that fit my foot so perfectly!
