Like most thrifters, Halloween time is my least favourite time to shop as the store is cramped with new Halloween costumes and more customers. But any time that I have visited during this season, has always been very lucrative for me. This particular shop was a gold mine in the shoe and dress section that I had a full cart and had to make a b-line for the change rooms early in my shop. That has never happened before! Plus, I have very small feet that the shoe section is one that I usually don’t score on. Not this time, I found a shoe in my exact size that I have been lusting over in all the boutique shops for years! This thrift was such a gold mine that I forgot to take pictures of many items, including items I purchased so I made sure to capture them when I got home.
Here’s what I spotted:
These brass bowls were quite pretty. $5 and $8.
Starbucks mug $4. I already have this one though, which I also found at Value Village.
Great mug from Chapters $4.
Should have purchased this bowl set!
These pink glass bowls at $5 each were so cute but they were new and not retro. I still think I should have purchased them!
Nice print $10.
I am familiar with this print $9.
What the heck is this?! Toe things that make you lose weight?
Coach sneakers priced too high.
These gorgeous Nine West pumps were sadly a bit big $20.
Stuart Weitzman shoes $9?! These are worth well over $200. Very narrow though.
Beauties! Sadly a bit too big.
Tsubo is a great European brand.
Kensie dresses $15.
Laundry dress $15.
Anne Klein dress $20.
Rachel Roy dress $9.
Anthropologie Everly elephants dress $9.
Anthropologie Moulinette Soeurs dress $10.
Tahari sweater $9. This is one of my favourite high price point brands.
Cynthia Rowley dress $15. Why didn’t I get this?! Would have been so cute with a bralette.
LBD $12. Not sure why I didn’t get this either. I think my choices were just so overwhelming!
Vivienne Westwood! This sweat outfit was $20 for both pieces but was NOT comfortable!
And now for what I purchased:
Nine West pumps $20! I’ve tried these on in stores soooo many times at $150! I don’t know why I never purchased them retail, perhaps my subconscious knew that I would one day find them thrift in perfect condition and in my exact 5.5 size that fit my foot so perfectly!
Great little Guess kitten heels $12.
H&M army green dress $15.
Joe brown zebra print dress $13.
Forever 21 coral sweater $5 and Kenar sweater $7.
This linen tunic (too short as a dress) is European made and styled $16.
Tunic $16, Maison Scotch blazer (so gorgeous) $10, Nine West pumps $20 and Guess kitten heels $12.
I hope this thrifthaul has inspired you to think outside the box when it comes to your shopping and opened your mind to what can be found at thrift shops!
